Favorite classroom websites

Favorite Birth-PK classroom websites:

I choose Ms. Carrie’s website because it had personal information about the teacher, a calendar of events, information about what they were doing in class, pictures of each class (that was only accessible through password for confidentiality), helpful links and other helpful information. I also choose this website because it was kept up to day. I found that many teacher websites were started at the beginning of the year, but not kept up to date.
I choose Ms. Jean’s preschool classroom website for many of the same reasons. An added feature that Ms. Jean’s website had was pictures of parent child activity days. To me this shows how Ms. Jean has built many relationships with the families of the children in her classroom. She also had family night forms explaining the upcoming family night activities.
Favorite K-3 environment websites:

For a K-3 classroom website I choose the primary pod website for kindergarten and 1st grade at a school in my local town. As I searched for classroom websites I realized that many of the schools in my local town did not have individual classroom websites. The Woods Learning Center primary pod website had summaries of what they had been learning, important dates to remember and a peek of what was coming up the next week in the classroom.
For my second K-3 classroom website I choose a second grade classroom at a school where I previously taught kindergarten. I choose this website because she listed homework activities, websites to help students, information about what they were studying, and specific information about the programs she uses in her classroom.
